HTC and Sprint to announce ‘latest collaboration’ on April 4th

Posted by: Brett

Sprint and HTC just began sending out invites to their upcoming event on April 4th to announce their ‘latest collaboration’. It was just yesterday that I told you about a rumor was tipped to from their internal sources regarding Sprint readying an HTC One X variant code named “Jet”.

Today’s event announcement only bolsters that rumor and we’re likely to see a new HTC device at the event. It’s quite possible that this will be a new device for the EVO line since we last saw an EVO near the end of June 2011. Sprint will likely use a dual-core S4 chip inside the device rather than a quad-core one so that it can support Sprint’s upcoming LTE network. The international HTC One X has a 4.7 inch screen, quad-core Tegra 3 CPU, an 8 megapixel camera, and Sense 4.0. It will be available in the UK one day after the Sprint event on April 5th.
