Images of supposed ‘iPad mini’ leak [Updated]

Take this with a grain of salt, but ZooGue, a case manufacturer for iOS devices as well as other smartphones, has images of what they claim to be an iPad mini, a smaller version of Apple’s tablet. Their source says the tablet has a 7.58 inch display, compared to a 9.7 inch display on the current iPad, and will also be announced at WWDC this coming Monday.

The reason why you should take this with a grain of salt is because the part doesn’t look Apple made. Sure, it’s got an apple on the back and says iPad, but it could be photoshopped. ZooGue also has an image showing the smaller dock connector and modified speaker grill at the bottom. I highly doubt we’ll see an iPad mini at WWDC next week, but who knows. Check the source link for more images and check it out for yourself.

Stay tuned to techc0re for news before and after WWDC this coming Monday, June 11th.

Update from ZooGue: “Another source close to the topic has told us that Apple is indeed manufacturing a miniature iPad in Foxconn’s Shenzhen factory.”
