Apple announced today that the WiFi + Cellular models of the iPad mini and fourth-generation iPad will launch in China this Friday, January 18th. Apple began sales of the WiFi iPad mini and fourth-generation iPad in China early last month.
Apple® today announced the Wi-Fi + Cellular versions of iPad® mini and the new fourth generation iPad with Retina® display will be available in China on Friday, January 18. iPad mini and the fourth generation iPad are currently available in more than 100 countries worldwide including the US, Australia, Canada, China, France, Germany, Japan and the UK.
The iPad mini was originally announced in October and features an all new design. It has a smaller, 7.9-inch display, an A5 chip, a 5 megapixel iSight camera, and the new Lightning port. The fourth-generation iPad features the same 9.7-inch Retina display, the all-new A6X chip, FaceTime HD camera, and the new Lightning port.
