According to a user on a Korean technology forum, Google and LG are getting ready to launch the Nexus 5 this May at Google I/O, despite there still being high demand for the Nexus 4. The user claims that the Nexus 5 will have a full-HD 5-inch display, a Tegra 4 processor with 2GB of RAM, a 13 megapixel camera, Android Key Lime Pie (presumably version 5.0), and 8GB or 16GB of internal storage with a starting price of $299.
The same forum user also says Google and LG are working on a Nexus 7.7. The tablet is said to include a 7.7-inch, 1920 × 1200 pixels display, a Tegra 4 processor with 2GB of RAM, as well as front and rear HD cameras starting at $299 for 8GB. The pricing sounds a bit odd because the current Nexus 7 starts at $199 for a 16GB, although the higher price could be to compensate for the larger display and better components.
Although none of this seems too far-fetched, take it with a grain of salt. LG did say at their CES 2013 press event that the Nexus 4 was their first of many devices built in collaboration with Google, suggesting there’s more in the pipeline.
