Mozilla announced two developer phones today which will run the new Firefox OS are manufactured by Spanish startup Geeksphone. The first device, known as Keon, is a low-end device with a 3.5-inch display, a 1 GHz Snapdragon S1 processor, 512MB of RAM, a 3 megapixel camera, and support for WiFi and 3G. The second device, known as Peak, has a 4.3-inch display, a 1.2GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4 processor, an 8 megapixel camera, 512MB of RAM, and 4GB of storage just like the Keon.
Both devices are expected to be made available next month and are said to be launching at a price “you could have never imagined”.
