Apple has posted iOS 6.1 beta 5, build 10B143, to the iOS Developer Center. Apple’s beta release today comes over a month after the release of beta 4 and just before beta 4 was slated to expire.
Update: Several reputable iOS developers / hackers are reporting / confirming via Twitter that yesterday’s release of iOS 6.1 beta 5 is actually the GM build. The build number lacks a “b” at the end (or any other letter) possibly lending credence to the fact that it’s a final build. Many are also saying that the build bears no expiration date meaning Apple might end up releasing the same build to the public (public builds cannot expire for obvious reasons).
