Nokia announced a new low-end device and mid-range device today in the Lumia 520 and the Lumia 720. First off, the Lumia 520 is the successor to the Lumia 510 and it includes a 4-inch display, a faster 1 GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4 processor, and a 5-megapixel camera. The Lumia 720 has a 4.3-inch display, the same dual-core processor, and NFC capabilities. Both devices lack LTE support which is disappointing, yet understandable due to their place in the market.
Both will be running Windows Phone 8, both will be available in five color,s and they’ll be rolling out to select markets beginning this quarter and more in Q2.
