Google launches Keep: a note-taking service integrated with Drive

Posted by: Brett

Google Keep has finally launched today after inadvertently making it’s way online a bit early last week. Keep is Google’s new note-taking service which integrates itself with Google Drive. The app allows you to create notes and checklists, as well capture pictures and voice memos to add into notes you’ve created. You can access and create notes at www.drive.google.com/keep as well.

Keep is currently available on all Android devices running Android 4.0 or later. It’s a standalone app but will support for Keep will be integrated into the Google Drive app soon. Google hasn’t said whether or not Keep will be coming to iOS or not, but considering iOS already has a plethora of other Google apps like Maps and Gmail, you’d think they’d launch Keep on iOS as well.
