Samsung Galaxy SIII review

Posted by: Brett

We’ve seen it all with the Galaxy SIII, from renders, to supposed press shots to hardware leaks. The Galaxy SIII is probably one of the hottest Android phones of the year and it’s only the sixth month of 2012. It’s difficult for a device to gain so much hype and popularity if it’s not made by Apple, but Samsung has consistently done just that with their Galaxy S line of phones. Does it have what it takes to take over the HTC One X as the best Android phone out there or does it fall short? Keep reading for my full review of the Galaxy SIII. Continue reading

The AT&T One X will finally go on sale this Sunday, June 10th for $199.99 at AT&T stores, after weeks of being delayed by US Customs due to a patent dispute ruling. The device is now available online as well.

Two weeks ago, Sprint announced that the EVO 4G LTE would go on sale last Saturday after also being delayed at US Customs.

AT&T Galaxy SIII announced, up for pre-order this Wednesday

Posted by: Brett

As Verizon, T-Mobile, and Sprint have all done today, AT&T has announced it’s variant of the Galaxy SIII. It’s almost identical to the three aforementioned models, but there doesn’t seem to be a 32GB option (yet) for AT&T. The other difference is that AT&T will be releasing a red – yes…red – version in addition to the marble white and pebble blue color variants, but it will be available later this summer. Otherwise, this device is exactly the same as the Verizon, T-Mobile, and Sprint versions we saw announced earlier today. It’ll be up for pre-order on June 6th for $199.

Sprint Samsung Galaxy SIII available on June 21st

In an unsurprising move, Sprint has also released details regarding their model of the Samsung Galaxy SIII. This comes after Samsung announced that 5 US carriers would be receiving the device, as well as carrier announcements from T-Mobile and Verizon. As usual, the device, will employ a dual-core Snapdragon S4 processor with 2GB of RAM instead of the quad-core Exynos, and will even come with Google Wallet preloaded. Sprint will begin accepting pre-orders tomorrow at www.sprint.com/galaxysiii for $199 if you want 16GB or $250 for the 32GB model, but oddly enough, the 32GB model will only be available online. It’s unknown as to whether that will change in the future or not. The device will be in stores on June 21st like the T-Mobile variant.

Verizon to take Galaxy SIII pre-orders June 6th for $199

Posted by: Brett

After Samsung announced that the Galaxy SIII would be available on 5 major US carriers beginning this month, Verizon revealed that it’d be taking pre-orders for it’s variant starting this Wednesday, June 6th. The device will go for $199.99 on contract for 16GB and $249.99 for 32GB and will bear the same specs as the international model as well as the same design, aside from a dual-core processor and a Verizon logo. This is only Verizon’s second Galaxy S device as they seem to have decided against the SII for the Galaxy Nexus last year. Everything you’ll need to know about the device is after the break.

Samsung announces Galaxy SIII to launch on 5 US carriers

Posted by: Brett

Samsung announced today their latest flagship device, the Galaxy SIII, would be  making its way to 5 major US carriers beginning this month. So, if you’re on Verizon, T-Mobile, Sprint, US Cellular, or AT&T, you’ll be able to call a Galaxy SIII your own pretty soon. This doesn’t come as much of a surprise considering all of the FCC clearings of multiple Galaxy SIII models and one leaked press image of a T-Mobile variant. While it appears as though each of the models will look just like the international model, they will each ditch the quad-core Exynos for a dual-core Snapdragon S4, which is actually up there with the Tegra 3. For the entire scoop, the press release follows.
