Is Sprint testing an LTE Windows Phone?

Sprint hasn’t shown the same amount of love to Microsoft and the Windows Phone 7 platform as they have HTC and Sense. The only windows Phone device they’ve released is the HTC Arrive and it was released exactly one year ago today on Sprint’s CDMA network. It seemed promising upon release but it was shadowed by the Nexus S 4G, Motorola Photon, and HTC EVO 3D.

SprintFeed received a tip from an anonymous source that Sprint is currently testing an LTE Windows Phone. The device manufacturer is currently unknown, although the device is expected to be using Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon S4 dual-core processor clock at 1.5 GHz. Releasing a device of this caliber would not be surprising as it seems Sprint is looking to be aggressive with it’s LTE devices. SprintFeed’s source claims Sprint, Microsoft and the unknown manufacturer are eyeing a fall release for the device.
